2023 One Day Symposium Registration Form

August 26: Wake up early and be on the bus BEFORE 7 am for the trip to Vancouver Island! You will get "breakfast on the bus" while we journey to the ferry terminal to sail at 9 am. If you are still hungry, you can buy food at one of the restaurants on the ferry while we sail to Butchart Gardens across the Strait of Georgia. We will be spending the whole day at the Butchart Gardens.

Butchart Gardens occupy the site of a former quarry and borders on Tod Inlet. The designated area of the gardens occupies approximately 5.26 hectares. The gardens provide dramatic floral displays in a variety of garden settings and styles set against a backdrop of mature trees and shrubs and linked together by a network of paths and transition areas. Throughout the garden are viewpoints offering glimpses of Tod Inlet and the hills beyond.
We will be back on the ferry at 5 pm, sailing back to the mainland and our hotel. You will be able to buy supper on the ferry if you are famished after all that walking through the Butchart Gardens. Spend the evening at the hospitality room, bidding farewell to your fellow - gardeners.

August 27: Departure from the hotel.
